We use a variety of tools and techniques to repair your sewer line. These include cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), slip lining, and pipe bursting.
CIPP provides an easy repair or replacement for your pipes. We’ll perform a thorough cleaning of your pipe, followed by an inspection. If you’re a good candidate for CIPP, we’ll use a fiberglass or felt flexible liner. Next, we’ll insert the resin-covered liner inside your existing pipe. Our process includes curing the liner via UV light or hot water. Once cured, it becomes a new, jointless pipe with restored functionality and integrity. Finally, we restore any lateral connections.
Slip lining is better if the repairs don’t require flexibility. We begin this trenchless method by removing any debris from your existing pipe. We’ll follow this up by inserting a slightly smaller pipe inside your host pipe. Next, we’ll seal your new pipe at any entrance or exit point. Occasionally, it’s necessary to add grout between your old pipe and new pipe. Despite the smaller opening, you can still expect excellent flow rates. Furthermore, this long-lasting trenchless technology restores structural integrity. Slip lining is best when you’ve got extensive damage.
Finally, there’s pipe bursting. This is an efficient, popular, and less expensive alternative to pipe replacements. Instead of digging a big trench, our Tampa experts will create tiny receiving and insertion pits. We insert a specialized bursting head into your damaged pipe. By using a pneumatic puller or hydraulic system, the busting head pipe will forcefully break apart your existing pipe. Once this is complete, we’ll insert a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) seamless pipe to replace your old pipe. Finally, we’ll connect your HDPE pipe to your lateral pipes. This long-term solution is versatile, increases your capacity, and is cost-effective.
